Description: The Property Manager Trainee will enter a training program that allows them to shadow and work alongside property managers in our various branches, including London, Hamilton, Toronto, Kingston, and Ottawa. Therefore, the incumbent must be flexible in travelling to each of the branches and must have their own means of transportation. The Property Manager Trainee will have the opportunity to manage their own portfolio as the training progresses, which will help them prepare for the transition into a Property Manager amongst the Homestead team.

Property Managers are responsible for a portfolio of residential buildings within their region. They coordinate staffing for the buildings, scheduling, budgetting of the finances involved in the operation of the buildings, and facilities management including contracts for different services needed.

This position provides excellent opportunity for advancement.
Skillset: The incumbent will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills; be able to work in a fast paced environment, show a commitment to customer service, and be results-oriented.

Preference will be given to candidates that have practical experience in the field and/or relevant post-secondary education.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our team in the London/Kitchener/Guelph area. This permanent full-time position offers competitive salary and benefits
Skillset: Responsibilities


· Maintain focus on tenant satisfaction and energy conservation.

· Troubleshoot all aspects of HVAC in high-rise apartment buildings including condensing modulating boilers and variable-speed drives.

· Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.

· Provide consistent monitoring of automation systems.

· Oversee HVAC-related mechanical projects.

· Maintain HVAC logs as required.

· Regularly update knowledge and skills through employer-sponsored educational programs.

· Comply with all safety code requirements.



Skills and Qualifications


· Gas license - G1 (preferred) or G2 (minimum).

· Excellent HVAC troubleshooting skills.

· Effective knowledge in HVAC automation systems.

· Efficient time management with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
